We would like to welcome you and your family to Waltham Pre-School and Out of School Club, providing childcare and pre-school education for children aged 0-11 years in the village of Waltham in Grimsby and surrounding areas.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of childcare and pre-school education in a relaxed, caring and happy environment which is safe and secure and allows all children the opportunity to develop skills, concepts and knowledge through play.
Our aim is for every child to leave Waltham Pre-School with a curious mind, a love of learning, the confidence to explore and the acquisition of a rich vocabulary. We want every child to have been nurtured in their learning and development, and to feel safe and secure in a stimulating environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
We offer a curriculum that has communication and language at the heart, one that follows children’s interests and builds on what they know and can do.
We aim to work in partnership with parents to provide our families with a safe, loving and nurturing environment to ensure that every child is offered equal opportunities to grow as individuals.
We enable each child to flourish and be prepared for each new chapter of their learning journey.
Waltham Pre-School and Out of School Club are based on the old Leas Infants School site, Manor Drive, Waltham.
Co-owners and Directors are Mrs Lesley Allen and Mrs Sonia Beal.
The Pre-school Manager is Mrs Catherine Standley.
The Deputy Managers are Mrs Victoria Rawcliffe and Miss Rachael Barker.
A waiting list system is in operation but please note it will not be on a first come first served basis. Children will be admitted by date of birth and according to places available.
